We are seeking a Wound Care LPN/LVN, internally referred to as our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to join our Wound Care team. As an LPN/LVN in wound care, you should be empathetic and have good communication skills. Shift’s Available: Days
Employment Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Hours: 8-hour shift
Location: St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
- meet the communication needs of the patient and family
- performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- this is a clinic environment with a need of one to three shifts/week
- supports both inpatient and outpatient care
- if you have some or all of the following wound care experience, let's connect: wound vacs, negative pressure wound therapy, ostomy care, etc.
Education and Work Experience
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- current and valid Missouri state LPN license
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
- one year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic setting
- previous wound care experience
