Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and tools, ensuring quality and precision in production processes. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and flexo presses.
• Perform setup and adjustments on machines according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate production.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality control checks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience in a manufacturing facility with a focus on machining or fabrication. Familiarity with the following skills is preferred:

• Fanuc programming and programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• CAM programming and CNC programming
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) knowledge
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for design purposes
• Experience with hand tools, tooling, and welding techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

A background in quality control, packaging, or warehouse operations is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a factory setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
