Machine Operator, Labor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

  • Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and flexo presses
  • Perform setup and adjustments on machines as necessary to ensure optimal performance

  • Utilize precision measuring instruments
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet company standards
  • Handle materials using forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly lines and fabrication tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating

  • Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations related to machining processes
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly and maintenance tasks
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing facilities or factories
  • Capability to work with various materials handling techniques including packaging and tooling
  • Experience in quality control processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory

Pay: From $42.00 per hour
