Machine Operator/Assembler

This position is geared towards an individual, with a minimum 1-2 years of machine operator experience with possible Panel Saw/assembly experience, who is looking to thrive in a woodworking manufacturing environment and enjoys working with there hands . Our ideal candidate would be a team player, hard working, punctual, able to succeed under pressure, show initiative, and have attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
• Oversee Panel Saw operation and make necessary changes to improve results
• Set-up and manage CNC machine to perform different jobs including drilling, bull nosing and cutting
• Assemble pieces by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts, and sub-assemblies
• Sand and clean objects or parts to correct defects and prepare surfaces for further finishing, using various hand and power tools
• Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Prepare, record and sort documents for data entry
• Produce and prepare boxes for packaging
• Other duties as required
