Responsibilities of Machinery Sales Representative

· Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences

· Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and services can meet these needs

· Help customers select products to meet customers’ needs, product specifications, and regulations

· Emphasize product features that will meet customers’ needs, and exhibit the capabilities and limitations of their products

· Answer customers’ questions about the prices, availability, and uses of the products they are selling

· Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements

· Communicate with managers or on work status and client issues that arise

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of Machinery Sales Representative

· Bachelor's degree in International Business or related discipline or equivalent experience.

· 2-5 years of account representative experience for automotive industry is a MUST.

· Willingness to travel 30% of the time, including the overnight travel.

· Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills.

· Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Driver's License with clear records

· Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

· Work responsibly, effectively, and independently

· Teamwork skills are a MUST!
