Role Purpose:
To deliver maintenance and repair projects while maintaining a safe workplace and assisting the Canterbury Linen Services site in achieving optimum performance and targets within the company's guidelines and legal requirements.
Project Delivery:
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
· Maintain maintenance records.
· Oversee emergency repairs.
· Install new equipment.
· Optimise equipment performance.
· Ensure compliance.
· Collaborating with other Teams.
· General facilities maintenance.
· Monitor spare parts inventory.
· Regularly inspect, maintain and service all laundry equipment to prevent and resolve breakdowns.
· Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and systems.
· Optimise and configure laundry equipment, where required, to ensure CLS is meeting production and quality targets.
· Assist with general facility maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and structural repairs.
· Maintain the company's vehicle fleet in good condition, perform repairs on the engine, transmission, brakes and air conditioning.

· Take appropriate action if a dangerous situation is noticed and make all reasonable efforts to make it safe.
· Comply with relevant standards and CLS Health and Safety policies.
Job Skills:
· Strong Technical Knowledge: Understanding mechanical, electrical, plumbing, motor and HVAC systems.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
· Technical Drawing & Schematics: Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals.
· Knowledge of Safety Protocols: Understanding health and safety standards.
· Time Management: Prioritize tasks to minimise equipment downtime.
· Computer Skills: Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
· Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions.
· Flexibility: Available for on-call shifts, weekends, or emergencies.
· Continuous Improvement Mindset: Suggest ways to enhance equipment reliability and workplace safety.
Job Requirements:

· Availability to work weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 – $42.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
