Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead and work alongside our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our facility. This is not just a delegating role — you’ll be actively involved in day-to-day maintenance tasks while guiding, training, and motivating your team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and work alongside maintenance staff, setting daily priorities and monitoring progress.
• Perform maintenance duties directly, ensuring you’re working in the field with your team.
• Organize and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
• Develop team skills through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, responding promptly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in an orderly and functional state.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support special projects such as painting, refurbishing, and preparing units for re-occupancy (apartment turns).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a similar facility environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems — HVAC experience a strong plus.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
