Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Charlotte North Carolina 28216
Shift: Evening - Evening: 4:00:00 PM - 2:00:00 AM, Monday - Friday

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
• Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Fabricate components as necessary to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and visitors regarding maintenance concerns.
• Document maintenance activities and report any significant repairs or improvements needed.

Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience in various trades.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Skilled in fabricating parts or components as needed for repairs.
• Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Solid mechanical knowledge, including understanding of logic controllers and their applications.
• Experience with residential painting techniques as part of facility upkeep.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively address inquiries and concerns from staff or clients.
