As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Our Maintenance team carry out a mixture of proactive and reactive maintenance tasks, resourcing appropriate engineers where necessary. Maintenance Operatives are the first point of escalation from Reception for maintenance related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ensure ongoing upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Oversee timely repair of equipment and facilities, addressing urgent issues efficiently. Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and ensure quality standards are met. Ensuring stock availability is correct and organised on a monthly basis to limit downtime of all assets.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and conduct routine safety inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Energy Management: Monitor and manage energy usage to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Implement proactive measures where possible to reduce energy costs and usage.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance role, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Previous experience in operating a BMS software (Building Management System)
- Proven ability to deal with suppliers and contractors with a familiarity of basic finance, using PO systems & invoicing.
- Up to date with health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CAFM and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Engineering, NEBOSH) are a plus.
