Maintenance Technician

Teton Valley Resort is looking for a reliable full-time maintenance tech to join our crew. We are an expanding resort that offers opportunities to grow and learn in a beautiful location. Ideal applicants are open to working evenings and weekends as well as on-call shifts.

The full-time maintenance tech will be responsible for managing and completing daily tasks and special projects individually and in a team.

• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to learn and operate computer-based software.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude for teamwork.
• Capable of working outdoors in harsh mountain conditions, including snow removal.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, hardscaping, and landscaping.
• Comfortable performing minor repairs on heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation systems (including heads, valves, leaks, wiring, and controllers).
• Ability to set and modify watering schedules as needed.
• Responsible for cleaning filters and maintaining solenoids.
• Experience in aerating, fertilizing, overseeding, and monitoring turf health.
• Skilled in flower bed maintenance and planting.
• Proficient in mowing, trimming, and weed control.
• Support overall exterior property maintenance.
• Perform nightly pool closing and security walk-throughs on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
• Comfortable troubleshooting irrigation systems.
• - Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs and working outdoors all day.
• - Dependable with punctual attendance.
• Basic mechanical skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
