The Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in preventative maintenance, and the ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery, tools, and safety systems to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications in collaboration with engineering and production teams. Custom equipment builds to suit our production needs
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process or equipment enhancements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
Collaborate with other departments (Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety) to resolve maintenance-related issues efficiently.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed if necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, pumps and industrial controls a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Ability to design mechanical equipment (preferred)
Experience with high pressure fire tube boilers - Boiler Black Seal License (preferred)
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, or equivalent).
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments (heat, noise, etc.).

Work Environment:
Full-time position in a manufacturing or industrial plant setting.
Requires shift work, overtime, or weekend coverage depending on production demands.
Works with 2 other maintenance technicians throughout the plant
Union Shop (would be part of the Union)
Shift – Monday – Friday (6a – 2:30p)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
