Maintenance Technician, Warehousing

To complete repairs and inspections of warehouse facilities, faulty equipment, systems and structures. These responsibilities will be accomplished following proper Health and Safety procedures and adhering to external stake holder processes and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Repair facility systems, including minor plumbing, heating, and lighting issues.
• Repair faulty warehouse equipment and structures including but not limited to dock systems, doors, and racking.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including but not limited to landscaping and painting throughout the interior and exterior of the facilities.
• Adhere to all Safety procedures.
• Complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a facilities maintenance technician.

· Extensive experience in maintenance and repairs in a related industry.

· General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

· Possession of working at heights license preferred.

· Forklift training and experience is an asset.

· Tools, including power tools and common hand tools.

· Possess a “G” driver’s license in good standing and vehicle in good working condition.

Our Offerings:

Pay Range: $ 25 to $27 per hour

This position is generally Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day shift with on call duties evenings and weekends periodically based on business needs.
