Make Artist Needed

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Make-up Artist to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing clients' natural beauty through expert makeup application and a strong understanding of current beauty trends. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, performing various beauty treatments, and promoting retail products to enhance the overall client experience. The Make-up Artist will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the salon’s reputation for excellence.

Duties

• Perform professional makeup applications tailored to clients’ preferences for daily wear, special events, or photoshoots.
• Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and nail care as needed.
• Deliver exceptional guest services by listening to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations.
• Conduct product demos and educate clients on skincare and makeup products to enhance their beauty routines.
• Assist with retail sales by upselling products that complement clients’ treatments while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning and sterilizing tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and handling inquiries efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product innovations to provide innovative services.
• Support team efforts in creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Make-up Artist or in a similar beauty service role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and recommend products confidently.
• Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and product demonstrations.
• Skills in additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or nail care are preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Friendly personality with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
