Blue Stampede Labour Hire is seeking exceptional (Marine) Mechanical Fitters to join a locally owned Mechanical Engineering Company based SOR.

Responsibilities and Experience:

• Working on a variety of mechanical units both on site and in the workshop as specified and to a high standard.
• Monitoring the progress of projects against the delivery dates, as well as measuring, calibrating and recording all mechanical sizes and equipment.
• Adhering to the HSEQ policies outlined by company and client. You will be required to keep up to date documentation and conduct equipment inspections for shortages, defects and other equipment issues.
• High degree of experience the on-site and workshop-based duties

The Successful Candidate:

• Must have Marine Experience
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency to meet deadlines on projects delivery and schedules dates.
• Australian recognised trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter
• +5 years' experience - Post Certification
• A clean and valid National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months) - Necessary for Military Facility Access.
• Class C Driver’s License
• White Card
• Rigger or Dogging HRWL(Desirable)
• LF Ticket (Desirable)
• EWP Ticket (Desirable)
• Available for week and weekend overtime at short notice as required
