Marine Parts Manager

Job Overview Due to growth and an internal promotion we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Parts Manager to oversee our Retail and B2B parts operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marine mechanical and Marine saftey , inventory management, and customer service. This role requires effective Vendor Partner Relationships, parts management and sourcing skills to ensure the smooth operation of our marine parts buisness. The Marine Parts Manager will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing Retail and B2B orders, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. We are a family-owned business that has been in the Tampa Bay Market since the 1950's.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily marine parts operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with shipping safety regulations.
• Manage vendor partner relationships and negotiate pricing to optimize costs.
• Coordinate sourcing activities for marine supplies and equipment.
• Implement and maintain an effective order management system to track inventory levels and orders.
• Supervise shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Guest Satisfaction is a company priority
• Monitor logistics to ensure timely transportation of materials and products.

Experience

• Proven experience in customer service, with a focus on marine parts and safety. equipment
• Strong background in supplier management and sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency in inventory management practices and order management systems.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a marine context is advantageous.
• Prefer experience with Light Speed DMS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
