We are seeking a creative and experienced Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team in a permanent, part-time position.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing communication and engagement for both Cashmere High School and the Cashmere High School Foundation. The role focuses on sharing our students’, staff, and alumni stories, promoting school and community events, managing social media and digital content, and coordinating marketing and communications for engagement and fundraising campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a strong copywriter and storyteller with proven experience in marketing and communications. You’ll be confident working across multiple platforms, from social media and newsletters to website content and printed publications. An organised, proactive approach and the ability to juggle multiple projects with creativity and attention to detail will be important in this role.

Experience in the education sector, community engagement, fundraising or philanthropy would be an advantage, along with familiarity with tools such as Canva, Hail, Sporty, CMS platforms, or CRM systems.

This position is 25 hours per week, term-time only, with an allowance for three additional weeks during school term breaks. Days and hours of work to be confirmed with successful applicant. Salary and conditions are covered by the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement (SSCA), Administration Grade 4, with pay dependent on skills and experience.
