Marketing Capability Manager

As Marketing Capability Manager, you will be responsible for enabling the Marketing teams to achieve their business objectives through project management, process development and improvement, technology adoption and implementation, and capability development.


Operational Excellence
  • Identifies gaps in the operations in collaboration with Marketing Unit Heads and recommends process and system improvements to achieve business objectives and effectively capture and share marketing information.
  • Reviews Marketing programs and projects; facilitates the prioritization and selection of projects based on business objectives and resources.
  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts/Consultants with regard to facilitating planning sessions and developing change management and communication plan concerning the changes in the marketing strategy, processes, and structure.
  • Monitors the progress of marketing flagship programs (OPLAN) and develops contingency and catch-up plans in coordination with process owner/ Marketing Unit heads to ensure timely execution and achievement of program objectives.

Information Systems Management
  • Identifies and recommends marketing technologies to be adopted by the organization and ensures their alignment with business goals.
  • Spearheads information systems projects (from conceptualization to execution) and liaises with Information Systems and other related units with regard to articulating issues and opportunities and in reviewing, designing, evaluating, and testing of new marketing tools and technologies to address the gaps and achieve goals.

  • Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, or any related course. Preferably with advanced units or post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA, etc.) and training.
  • With at least 5 years managerial experience in Marketing Operations in an FMCG company. Experience with Business Intelligence tools and Marketing Analytics platforms, is required.
  • With advanced skills in Brand Strategy Development & Planning, Brand Equity, Brand Activation, Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Insight and New Product Development.
  • Proficient in Category & Channel Planning, Data Analysis & Management, Shopper Insight, Financial Awareness & Brand Profitability, Forecasting, Digital Marketing, and Project Management.
  • With working knowledge in Distributor Management and Key Account Management
