Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Marketing & Documentation Manager to lead our marketing initiatives while also standardizing and documenting operational workflows at DHOOM. The ideal candidate will be a hybrid thinker — capable of creative marketing execution while also producing clear, well-structured SOPs that support consistency, quality, and scalability across the restaurant.
This role combines traditional marketing responsibilities with operational system-building. The right candidate will not only help grow our brand through digital and traditional marketing, but also ensure every process within DHOOM is documented and optimized.
Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive traffic (online & footfall).
- Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively across digital, print, and local outreach.
- Optimize website content and visibility using SEO best practices.
- Create and manage content for WordPress, social media platforms, and email newsletters.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with the sales/service team to align promotional campaigns with restaurant goals.
- Design and implement ad creatives using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Track campaign effectiveness via Google Analytics and adapt strategies based on data insights.
SOP Creation & Restaurant Systemization
- Document every operational process within DHOOM — from guest entry to table service, kitchen handover, cleaning, complaint resolution, etc.
- Build step-by-step SOPs for:
- Host/hostess greeting procedures
- Table setup and reset protocols
- Order flow and timing
- Packaging and takeout standards
- Cleaning schedules and checklists
- Uniform and grooming standards
- Opening/closing duties for all staff roles
- Influencer hosting and post-collaboration follow-up
- Ensure all SOPs are stored in an organized format (Google Drive, Notion, or printed binders).
- Regularly update documentation to reflect menu changes, new technologies, or process improvements.
- Assist in training materials and visual SOPs to support onboarding of new staff.
Experience & Skills Required
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing management or a similar role (hospitality experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective marketing campaigns.
- Strong grasp of SEO, content marketing, and WordPress.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for design tasks.
- Excellent documentation, writing, and systemization skills.
- High attention to detail; able to observe operations and translate them into structured SOPs.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, guest experience, and hospitality workflows.
- Organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Bonus Traits
- Experience building SOP manuals or operational handbooks.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Trello, Google Docs/Sheets for internal systems.
- Understanding of influencer marketing and content trends in the hospitality industry.

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M4K 1P1
