About Intellectually Us Intellectually Us is an education agency created to close the gap in educational resources for minority and disadvantaged youth. We provide affordable tutoring services for students in grades K–12, with a focus on cultural representation and student empowerment.
We are expanding our impact by launching a new culturally responsive preschool product line, including a workbook and flashcards that blend culture, storytelling, and education in a way that feels familiar and affirming to young learners.
Position Overview We are seeking a Marketing & Product Launch Intern to support the rollout of our new preschool workbook and flashcards. This is a hands-on opportunity for students or early professionals interested in marketing, business, communications, or education to gain experience with real-world product launch strategies.
The intern will help coordinate and execute marketing activities surrounding the product release—spanning social media, email campaigns, partnerships, community outreach, and digital engagement.
Duration & Compensation
- Duration: 4 months (approximately 5–10 hours per week)
- Stipend: $1,600 total (paid in four installments of $400)
- Start Date: Flexible
Key Responsibilities As a Marketing & Product Launch Intern, you will:
- Assist in executing the marketing plan for the preschool workbook and flashcards
- Create engaging social media content and manage posting schedules
- Support community and influencer outreach to increase brand awareness
- Help coordinate online and in-person launch events or promotions
- Conduct market research and provide input on audience engagement strategies
- Track and report marketing performance metrics
- Ensure all communications and visuals align with Intellectually Us’s brand voice and mission
- Contribute creative ideas for promoting culturally relevant educational materials
Qualifications Ideal candidates are:
- Current students or recent graduates studying marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Passionate about education, culture, and community impact
- Strong communicators with attention to detail
- Comfortable using social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Creative, organized, and eager to learn
Professional Development
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Receive feedback and performance evaluations during the internship term
- Build a professional portfolio and gain experience launching a real product
- High-performing interns may be invited to continue with Intellectually Us in future roles
Requirements
All interns must engage in at least 1 evaluations throughout their internship term. These evaluations will analyze student performance and offer feedback for improvement if needed.
