You are the custodian of the "run state," responsible for ensuring that the business outcomes and growth are enhanced through the effective use of technology.
A primary driver of success for this role is the continuous evolution of our business processes. Your objective is to ensure that our operational model is not just stable, but a competitive advantage, delivering measurable improvements in speed-to-market, cost-to-serve, and overall organisational productivity.
The Opportunity

- Implementation of the "run-state" governance required to manage ongoing business process changes. You will ensure that any future technical iterations are prioritized based on their ability to deliver business value and organizational stability
- Partner with end users to assess how technical shifts impact the user and operational layers of the business, ensuring that resource allocation is optimized for new ways of working and relevant services are resourced and trained appropriately
- Identifies gaps in the operational model that translate into missed/lost value realisation and propose tactics to capitalise on missed opportunities
- Operationalise the 'run-state' governance framework for managing ongoing business process, solution, data and user changes after go-live
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to process speed, cost-to-serve, and operational friction, driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage stakeholder alignment (with vendors, RDT/IT, and business) to ensure all transition plans and the future "run" model are co-created and fully supported
Success in this role requires a highly structured, process-oriented leader with a deep understanding of business operations and service management. You are the steady hand that ensures the program's strategic vision becomes a stable, reliable, and continuously improving operational reality.
Key characteristics include:
- >3 years of experience in Business Operations, Service Delivery in a large-scale, global environment with a strong understanding of how to run and support enterprise platforms in a "business as usual" state.
- 5 years of experience in the commercial function of pharmaceutical/biotechnology or a closely related, regulated industry, with a deep understanding of its core business functions and operations.
- Proven, hands-on experience within large transformation programs and managing complex "project-to-operations" transitions, including go-live readiness, cutover, and hypercare management.
- >3 years of direct people leadership or >10 years of matrix leadership of distributed teams.
- A pragmatic and process-driven "run-state" mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, stability, and operational excellence.
- A highly collaborative leader with a proven ability to partner effectively with deployment, RDT/IT, and senior business stakeholders to ensure seamless solution operations.
