Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in our busy outpatient practice. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Assist with in-office phlebotomy.
• Assist with in-office intramuscular injections.
• Collect and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Ensure the clinic is updated with accurate patient records.
• Prepare patients for visits and assistance with in office procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Support urgent care operations by triaging patients based on their needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care delivery.
• Exhibit knowledge of physiology to assist in patient education regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Exhibit willingness to engage in operational workflow improvements on a recurring basis.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity in the following areas:

• Outpatient clinic operations, including patient interaction and administrative tasks.
• Outpatient medicine protocols that enhance patient care efficiency.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
• Experience with phlebotomy
• Experience with intramuscular injections.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)
• Administering injections: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
