Dallas Medical Center is a 155-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization lab, and outpatient therapy. The hospital is the only trauma center in the vicinity and is also a Certified Chest Pain Center. Dallas Medical Center is a recipient of multiple Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards and eight Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years. Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience

1. Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.

2. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

3. Work experience in health care preferred.

4. Medical Assistant Certification.

5. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
