Full Time Medical Assistant/Tech

Fast paced doctors office looking for a full-time medical assistant/tech. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm. Experience is preferred, but not required. Pay rate will be based upon experience. Must be willing to learn to do various testing and collect urine samples. Serious inquiries only. Please send resume to Northbrevardneurology@gmail.com.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examination by assisting them with their needs

• Take vital signs and conduct physical assessments
• Perform routine laboratory measurements and other duties as assigned
• Assist providers with other tasks as needed
• Maintain patient charts
• Clean and sterilize work area
• Assist with scheduling appointments
• Communicate with patients’ caregivers regarding patient status, changes in diagnosis or procedures, etc. (this is not a clinical role)
• Maintain professional knowledge of equipment and technology (i.e., orderlies’ charting)
• Other duties as assigned by management

Experience:
One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred

• Experience working in a medical practice preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
