Medical Billing Specialist (Us Healthcare) | Hybrid At Eastwood Libis

Work Set-up: First 2-4 weeks onsite training before transitioning to fully remote/wfh.

Shift: 9pm to 6am, Mondays to Fridays (Nightshift)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for revenue cycle management tasks for multiple behavioral health Providers in a national portfolio. They may be responsible for the entire revenue cycle process or a specific task within the process.

• Adhere to policy and procedures to ensure timely and accurate billing of outpatient charges
• Calculate copay/coinsurance amounts and communicate appropriately
• Accurately apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts from insurance explanation of benefits
• Manage clearinghouse and payer rejections
• Assist with payer correspondence, appeals and refunds
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and/or patient payments
• Contact payers to resolve discrepancies and underpayments
• Navigate and work within insurance websites verifying eligibility and claim status
• Effectively communicate payment or denial trending that impacts revenue
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in medical billing and/or medical insurance claims.
• Experience in using Electronic Billing System is a must.
• A proactive mindset coupled with outstanding prioritization and task management skills, demonstrating your ability to handle a high volume of tasks daily.
• Proficiency in following complex process workflows accurately and efficiently.
• Exceptional follow-through skills, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
