Hours of work:

• Schedule may include up to 2 evenings per week Tuesday afternoon 2-6pm and Thursday 9-6:30pm
• Part-time to start

Experienced in a medical office?

Comfortable dealing with conflict and crisis?

What you will do:

• Fulfill routine medical office functions such as answering phones, contacting physicians and pharmacies, following through on referrals, filing, etc.
• Manage waiting room, including dealing with conflict and crisis in a manner that deescalates the situation and promotes positive outcomes
• Use electronic medical records to book appointments, update patient data, scan results, track prescriptions
• Perform Urine Drug Screen tests
• Maintain filing systems

What you need to have:

• Medical Reception education and/or minimum 2 years experience in medical office
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members in positive, empowering ways at all times and to deal effectively with conflict and crisis
• Proven ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills
