Medical Receptionist – Full-Time or Part-Time (Immediate Start)
Port Macquarie & Wauchope Clinics

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy practices located in Port Macquarie and Wauchope. This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time hours, and the opportunity to provide fill-in coverage across both clinics as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming phone calls and handling patient enquiries
• Booking and managing patient appointments
• Welcoming and assisting patients upon arrival
• Patient data entry, faxing, and document scanning using Best Practice software
• Liaising professionally with GPs and patients
• Prioritizing tasks and managing a busy workload effectively
• Delivering a high standard of patient care
• Handling billing, invoicing, and receipting for consultations

Skills & Experience Required:

• Demonstrated customer service experience, ideally in a medical setting
• Strong communication and telephone etiquette
• Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Responsible, reliable, and highly organized
• Proficiency in Best Practice software is highly regarded
