Summary

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Total Orthopaedic Care. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience as they navigate their orthopedic care journey.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
• Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls and patient inquiries efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for multiple providers.
• Ensure accurate patient records are maintained and updated in the medical office management system.
• Process patient information and insurance details accurately.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Collect patient responsibilities based on services provided

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical office management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
