Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters, managing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely information flow within the clinical environment. This position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in medicine or healthcare administration. Willing to train, no experience required.

Duties

• Accurately document patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits.
• Assist healthcare providers in managing electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient care and communication.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices to support accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.

Requirements

• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential; experience with coding is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in chiropractic care, is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
