Our Opportunity
Are you passionate about promoting safety and wellbeing for families? Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our Men's Family Violence Practitioner. This role sits within our The Orange Door Team. The role is responsible for supporting men who use family violence to change their behaviour. Practitioners work with them through risk assessment, safety planning, and referrals to programs like Men’s Behaviour Change.

About You
We are looking for a motivated, values-driven individual with experience in the family services, family violence or correctional sector. The ideal candidate will thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team.


Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the family services, family violence or correctional sector
  • Prioritize the safety of victim-survivors, children, and affected family members. Hold perpetrators accountable through respectful engagement and clear boundaries.
  • Engage with men using violence to support behaviour change and responsibility.
