Microsoft Sql Server Migration Assistant (Ssma)

We are looking for highly skilled Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) to join our implementation project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and unit testing of data migration jobs using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using ADF and SQL.

• Participate in detailed technical design, development, and unit testing for data migration activities.

• Create and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target environments.

• Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and stakeholders to gather data migration requirements and objectives.

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support integration and reconciliation tasks.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration process.

• Conduct data mapping, profiling, and validation to detect and resolve data quality issues.

• Optimize data migration processes for performance and reliability.

• Document data migration workflows, procedures, and technical specifications.

• Support issue resolution and incident management related to data migration.

• Stay current with ADF, SQL, and data migration best practices.

Qualifications

For Lead Developers:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data migration or ETL development roles.

• Proven ability to lead and manage data migration activities in enterprise environments.

For Junior Developers:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data migration or ETL development.

Required Skills (All Candidates):

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and PL/SQL.

• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.

• Experience with ETL tools and data integration methodologies.

• Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and data profiling.

• Familiarity with Azure ecosystem: Azure SQL, DevOps, PowerShell scripts, and Storage Accounts.

• .NET experience for document migration tasks and custom UI enhancements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
