We’re on the lookout for a passionate Customer Service Team Member to join our Garden Department on a fixed-term contract through to the end of September 2025. This role offers 24 hours per week, working Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays (8 hours each day).

In this dynamic role, you’ll use your gardening knowledge to support customers, inspire their projects, and help create an exceptional in-store experience.

What You Can Expect in This Role

As a valued member of our Garden Department, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and inspiring space for our customers.

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable service by guiding customers to the right plants, tools, and gardening solutions that suit their needs and goals.
• Champion plant care and presentation—watering, maintaining, and displaying stock to ensure a vibrant and healthy-looking department.
• Share your green-thumb expertise through practical advice and seasonal tips that empower customers to succeed in their gardening projects.
• Collaborate with an enthusiastic team to keep the garden centre running smoothly and efficiently.
• Engage in hands-on, physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting, shifting, and handling of bulky items like soil, compost, large pots, and plants.
