Motel Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Motel Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a solid background in hotel management. Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain the overall success of the motel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily motel operations, including front desk guest services, and housekeeping coordination
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to maintain profitability
  • Handle human resources functions such as scheduling, and addressing employee concerns
  • Maintain compliance with hospitality regulations and safety standards
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing clientele
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and phone etiquette to ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Address guest complaints promptly and professionally to uphold the motel’s reputation
  • Check daily operation of inhouse restaurant

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in hospitality or hotel management roles
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual skills to serve a diverse clientele effectively (preferred)
  • Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, training, and employee relations
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational planning
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and phone etiquette in a hospitality setting
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with a professional demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00-$3,000.00 per month
