Motorsports Sales Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Powersports Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth within the high-performance powersports industry. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of sales operations, develop strategic initiatives to expand our customer base, and foster lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the dealership’s powersports market share locally and regionally.
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting new clients through outbound calls and cold calling to closing high-end deals with B2B customers.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities via networking, marketing initiatives, and public speaking engagements.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate inventory control aligned with sales forecasts.
  • Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and support upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct negotiations with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize dealership profitability while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional events, product demonstrations, and community outreach activities.
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication skills when engaging with clients across various channels.
  • Provide ongoing sales support by assisting team members in closing deals, preparing proposals, and managing complex transactions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales within the powersports, automotive, or related retail industry.
  • Demonstrated success in high-end or luxury vehicle sales, with a strong focus on upselling and deal closing.
  • Prior dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems and CRM software is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills complemented by excellent organizational skills and retail math proficiency.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Experience in public speaking or community engagement to promote products and build brand awareness.
  • Knowledge of automotive or powersports industry trends, inventory control practices, and retail marketing strategies is advantageous.
