Mover - Global Freight Forwarder (#34642)

A global freight forwarding company in the Romulus, MI area is looking for a motivated Moving Coordinator.

Moving Coordinator Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate price quotations
• Ensure on-time and efficient shipment movement
• Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings
• Completing paperwork and payment
• Working closer with co-workers to load/unload customer belongings.
• Other duties as assigned

Moving Coordinator Requirements

• Experience in household goods relocation is preferred but no required.
• Very good attention to details
• Be able to move and lift furniture with group of people
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
• Able to travel as requested to customer’s sites via truck with other movers
• This position includes warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
