Mowing Crew Team Member-Entry Level Technician

Job Requirements:

• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform routine tasks without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and on-call when needed
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule dependent upon weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Physical ability to safely lift heavy loads and walk/stand/sit/bend/pull/kneel for long periods of time

Skills:

• Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with a busy work environment
• Ability to safely and effectively operate a variety of lawn care equipment including chain saws, lawn mowers, tractors, clippers, trimmers and more.
• Strong problem solving, conflict management and organizational skills
• Ability to take direction from, and perform tasks as instructed by, supervisor
• Ability to work in varied, and sometimes severe, weather conditions
• Mowing and/or Landscaping experience is not necessary
• Strong mental and visual concentration

Working Conditions:

• Employee will regularly encounter variable types of inclement weather
• Employee will regularly perform physically challenging tasks
• Daily use of a variety of tools, landscape maintenance equipment, and tractors
• Considerable periods of walking/standing/sitting/kneeling/bending/squatting
• Moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, pulling at times
• Company uniform required to be worn daily as well as all necessary personal protective equipment
• Some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness
