About the Role:
The National Account Manager is responsible for leading Ferrero’s partnerships with Discounters, Clubs and the Pharmacy channel. This role drives sustainable growth and profitability by building strong customer relationships, delivering joint business plans, and executing strategies that support Ferrero’s brand and commercial objectives. The role is acting as the primary liaison between Ferrero and these retail partners and ensures alignment on category growth, promotional execution, and innovation launches.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and achieve net sales targets across the clients and channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, lead day-to-day account management and support the Customer Director in strategic engagement
- Develop and implement joint business plans, including promotional and innovation initiatives
- Negotiate case deals, pricing, activation activities, and cost price increases
- Optimize trade investment for measurable ROI
- Maintain high forecast accuracy and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for all stakeholders
- Achieve distribution targets for core and new product ranges
- Ensure promotional compliance and execute promotional plans with minimal deviation
- Work cross-functionally with teams to deliver strategic initiatives
- Achievement of distribution targets for core and NPD ranges
- Ensure timely and effective execution of new product launches
Who we are looking for:
- University degree in Business Management or related field
- Good experience in FMCG sales or account management; experience in the Discounters, Clubs and Pharmacy channel is highly regarded
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven ability to deliver results
- Demonstrated capability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across various functions
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proactiveness and growth-orientation, with strong planning and negotiation skills
- Excellent Communication, presebtation and relationship management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong team-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, experience with SAP, Power BI, Cirnana
