The role:
We are looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to lead On Trade & Independent Off Trade channels in Ireland. The successful candidate will work alongside the Ireland Country Manager, Off Trade National Account Manager and Commercial Manager to maintain and grow AB InBev’s premium and super-premium brand footprint in Ireland. The candidate will be required to meet regularly with key senior stakeholders in our distribution partner’s team to drive the performance of our portfolio through brand activation, data analysis, category insight, problem solving and commercial proposals. The candidate will also need to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. It is vital that the candidate becomes an AB InBev ambassador, always driving our culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
  • Set the short & long term strategy for the On Trade Channel.
  • Deliver short and long-term objectives in line with business strategy.
Customer Management
  • Own the relationship with our distribution partner in Republic of Ireland across the entire On Trade and a smaller portion of the Off Trade.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo and propose solutions to unlock growth opportunities.
  • With the support of a direct report, lead the agenda across routines and regular performance reviews.
  • Negotiate confidently to secure the best outcomes for the business.
Stakeholder Management
  • Leverage a virtual team of Internal Stakeholders across Category, Supply, Trade Marketing and Brand.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships through collaborative working sessions and customer relationship management opportunities.
  • Lead and inspire your direct report to deliver growth and best-in-class execution across the account.
  • Collaborate with our experiential agency to deliver impactful brand activation across market.
Commercial Ownership
  • Deliver commercial metrics on your customer's ledger: including sales volume, net revenue, profit.
  • Manage investments on the account to deliver any savings possible to the business and always maximise return on investment.
  • Support our distribution partner in achieving full ledger commercial targets.
  • Execute routine commercial calls: Margin Tracking, Budgeting, Investment Monitoring, Commercial Modelling, Forecasting.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Project Management experience
  • Account Management experience and track record of commercial delivery
  • Experience in the beer/alcohol industry advantageous
  • Excellent communication and influencing/negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license in ROI and willingness to drive
  • Enthusiasm, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passion for beer, pubs and the drinks industry
  • Experience in developing strong internal and external networks
  • Fluent in English
