About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who can manage day-to-day coordination tasks while also driving business growth and client engagement.
This is a dual-role position combining operations + business development, ideal for someone who enjoys both administration and building relationships.
Key Responsibilities of Coordination (Operations)
- Manage staff rosters and scheduling (e.g., Shift Care)
- Coordinate support services and ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain client records, onboarding documents, and compliance files
- Communicate with support workers and ensure shift confirmations
- Monitor service quality and collect client feedback
- Assist with incident reporting and general NDIS compliance tasks
Business Development
- Build relationships with support coordinators, plan managers, and LACs
- Identify and convert new client opportunities
- Promote services through community engagement and networking
- Manage platforms such as Clickability, social media, and referrals
- Represent Smiling People at events, meetings, and community activities
Requirements
- Experience in NDIS, disability, or community services (preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Basic knowledge of NDIS systems and compliance (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
