Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift, providing exceptional guest services while managing financial transactions and hotel records. This position requires a blend of hospitality expertise and strong organizational skills to maintain the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent customer service to guests.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
• Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, reservations, and billing information.
• Prepare daily financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property during overnight hours.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including responding to phone calls and emails in a professional manner.

Skills

• Strong background in guest services with a focus on hospitality management.
• Experience in hotel operations or resort environments is preferred.
• Proficient in using phone systems and front desk software.
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of service.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.75 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
