Night Auditor

Bonnington Dublin Hotel is looking to recruit a Night Auditor to join our Team.

This role will involve working as per the roster Monday to Sunday mainly nights and flexibility with working hours is essential.

The role:

• Check in and out hotel guests as required as well as assisting with guests’ requests in relation to luggage / porterage and any other requirements.
• Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotel including, but not restricted to reception, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the meeting rooms floors as directed by Management. This includes cleaning cobwebs, high dusting, spillages, surfaces etc.)
• Responsible for cleaning other areas as directed by manager on duty and also as per nightly checklist which may include set up function rooms, breakfast areas etc.
• Report for duty at the correct time as per the roster, in the specified uniform, ensuring a high standard of appearance at all times.
• To ensure that all materials and equipment are not left in a hazardous state.
• Ensure you receive a hand over from the previous shift and check for any messages, late arrivals, early check-outs, newspapers and early breakfasts etc.
• To ensure toilers are being kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Collect breakfast cards whilst completing security walks.
• To comply with Hotel COVID19 regulations in terms of hygiene, masks, social distance measures.
• To have a full understanding of the hotels ‘fire procedures to ensure safety of all staff and guests at all times.
• Responsible for collecting food trays from the corridors to the Kitchen area.
• Report and highlight any maintenance issues to Management and appointed Maintenance person.
• Liaising with Duty Managers and Guests to ensure the above tasks are completed efficiently.
• Assist in Reception duties when required.

Making sure that Night Auditor book is being fill in on a daily basis – any issues raised with Maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have good customer service skills and excellent attention to detail, a good command of English language and up to date Work Permit (if applicable).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: €16.00-€17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
