Night Shift Shop Assistant

We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Night Shift Shop Assistant to join our team at East Wall Service Station. This role suits someone who works well independently, takes pride in keeping a shop clean and organised, and provides friendly, efficient service to customers during overnight hours, starting aprox 11pm to 7am.

This role suits someone who works well independently, takes pride in keeping a shop clean and organised, and provides friendly, efficient service to customers during overnight hours.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Preparing the shop for opening the following day
• Facing off shelves and ensuring products are well presented
• Cleaning and tidying the shop, including floors, counters, and food areas
• Restocking shelves and fridges as required
• Handling cash and card payments accurately
• Following all health, safety, and security procedures
• Maintaining a responsible and calm presence during night hours

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to work independently during night shifts
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Strong customer service skills
• Good spoken English to communicate clearly with customers
• Previous retail or service station experience is an advantage, but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €16.87 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
