Night Shift Team Member

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Night Shift Team Member to join our food service team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations, with a strong focus on efficiency and teamwork. Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food presentation and upselling additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction
• Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy night hours
• Support inventory management through proper food handling and storage practices
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and health protocols throughout shift

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
• Knowledge of the food industry, including serving practices and upselling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods
• Prior kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
