Nsw/Act Operations Manager

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the smooth running of our catering operations across multiple sites in the Sydney & Canberra Metro area. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, managing teams, sustaining exceptional client relationships, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations, all while driving operational efficiency and growth.

Your ability to guide and nurture the growth of the teams around you as well as influence key client relationships will serve you well in this role.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing the catering operations across multiple sites, including events and functions
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders
Lead staff training and development initiatives
Managing budgets and resources effectively to optimise operational costs
Ensuring high levels of compliance across compliance within health & safety

Skills and Experiences:
Your background:
Must include previous experience in a catering environment (preferably also a chef in a previous life)
Extremely strong people skills, friendly & approachable to both your team and clients alike
Proven track record of managing catering operations and leading diverse teams
Knowledge of IDDSI Standards and Aged Care exposure would be well regarded
Strong financial acumen exhibiting exposure to budgetary controls
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to think strategically while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence
