Nurse Aide Instructor-Registered Nurse (Evening)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide Instructor-Registered Nurse (RN) to lead evening classes and provide high-quality instruction in nurse aide training programs. This role involves, supervising student clinical experiences in classroom setting, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. The ideal candidate will have two+ years of nursing experience as an RN, including patient care and hospital settings, nursing home, along with a passion for teaching adult learners in higher education environments. The instructor will play a vital role in preparing future healthcare professionals through engaging classroom instruction and practical training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nurse aide instruction to adult students, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
• Use of Blackboard and other learning technologies.
• Supervise students
• Assess student performance through documentation review, skill demonstrations, and written examinations; provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and competency assessments
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures during classroom and clinical activities.

Experience

• Two+ years of experience in a Nursing Home, SNF, Long Term Care, Hospital as a Registered Nurse is absolutely required
• Prior teaching experience at a adult education programs is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 22.5 per week
