Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in maintaining smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions across various departments. This position offers an opportunity to utilize a broad skill set in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficiency and professionalism of our organization. Experience with office management software, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with proper phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and organizing office supplies
- Support bookkeeping activities and assist with basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software reconciling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accounts
- Maintain organized files both electronically and physically to ensure quick retrieval of information
- Experience
- Prior office experience is required, preferably in administrative or clerical roles within fabrication environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
- Experience with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing (fast and accurate), and familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of front desk operations, filing systems, and customer support best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for proofreading and document management
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
