Diverse Universe Care Support is a registered NDIS provider delivering for all individuals with disabilities aged 7-65 the quality service and care they need to live as independently as possible.

Responsibility

  • Attend to incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails
  • Co-ordinate and manage rosters of care staff and arrange emergency shifts as they arise
  • Communicate with care staff, clients, representatives, and case managers to ensure smooth provision of services
  • Provide support and guidance to care staff
  • General administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and mailing

The Opportunity:

Diverse Universe Care Support is looking for an Administration Officer in the NDIS sector for our office, who is engaging, motivated, and passionate to join our team and make a difference in the community. You will be responsible for the administration of NDIS agreements and for liaising with other NDIS administration, intake, and coordination roles in the organization. You will be the first point of contact and the face of our business. This is a busy role and would suit someone who enjoys a diverse and varied role where no two days are the same.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to build rapport and form relationships with a variety of stakeholders

1-2 years of admin experience

NDIS experience preferred

Clear communication with the Team

Strong computer skills (MS office)

Ability to learn new systems quickly

Strong written and verbal communication

Warm and professional phone manner

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proactively collaborates well in a team environment

Strong analytical skills - an interest in process improvement

Ad hoc duties as requested.

Fluent in English (Speaking/Writing)

Admin experience is a MUST

Expectation:

Be cordial in dealing with others in the office

Be professional when dealing with the potential and current participant and others at all times

Ensure the smooth running of the office

Assist with answering the telephone

You have high-level computer skills, using databases and the Microsoft office programs

High level of organizational and time management skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Provide direct assistance to the office staff

Any other duties that support the effective running of the office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
