Online Math And Science Tutor (Mandarin Speaking)

TopEliteTeachers, a Canadian-based subsidiary of TopOnlineTeachers, is hiring now for online Middle and Secondary School math and science tutors. Students typically range in age from 10 to 15. Curriculum is provided, and teachers have flexibility to modify lessons as appropriate. Hours are flexible and generally fixed week to week depending on availability of tutor and student demand. Our typical peak hours are every day from 6 PM to 9 PM China Time. Salary is $25 CAD for grades 6 to 10 and $30 CAD per hour for more advanced 11 and 12 grade classes paid twice monthly via e-transfer. Canadian citizens and residents have the option to be hired as regular employees with EI and CPP benefits.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications:

-Familiarity with IGCSE, AP, IB science and math courses.

-Being able to teach in both English and Mandarin.

- Some online teaching experience. Familiarity with VooV is a plus.

- Familiarity with at least basic middle school math & sciences such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

- Punctual and reliable. Open to longer term employment with us.

- Strong and reliable internet access and a computer

- Undergraduate degree from accredited university
