In this job you will:

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operational Excellence Manager to join our team. This role will focus on improving how we work, making processes more efficient, and helping us provide better service to our customers. Reporting to senior management, the Operational Excellence Manager will take charge of identifying areas for improvement, planning and running improvement projects, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

We need someone who is organized, practical, and can get things done. The right person will have experience running improvement projects, building strong relationships, and handling challenges that come with working across teams. Good communication and negotiation skills are essential to work effectively with mid- and senior-level colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive Improvement Projects:

  • Spot opportunities to improve how we work and prioritize them.
  • Plan and manage improvement projects with clear goals and results, adhering to project management methodologies.
  • Solve problems creatively, even when the solution isn’t obvious.

2. Work with Other Teams:

  • Build good relationships with people across the company to get support for ideas for improvement.
  • Lead discussions and work with colleagues to agree on changes.
  • Handle conflicts and ensure everyone works well together on projects.

3. Track Progress and Set Goals:

  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to understand how we’re doing.
  • Use data to suggest and launch new improvement projects.

4. Lead a Small Team:

  • Recruit and manage one team member to help with improvement work.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure your team delivers results.

5. Manage Projects:

  • Oversee multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Make sure projects are completed on time and deliver measurable results.

6. Change Management:

  • Lead change initiatives and manage the impact on teams.
  • Help people adapt to new ways of working and encourage a mindset of improvement.

7. Support Cost and Revenue Goals:

  • Work on costing activities to support the company’s financial goals.
  • Set and track metrics for Revenue, Cost, and Gross Margin (GM).
  • Find ways to cut costs and improve profitability.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Education* A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Certifications like ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus.
  • Solid experience in improvement roles, project management, or similar jobs, ideally in support operations or service management.
  • Preferably someone with experience in handling projects in AI, IT Infra in the Airport/Airline Industry
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in analyzing data, tracking KPIs, and turning insights into action.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to tackle challenges and find practical solutions.
  • Organized: Highly structured and detail-oriented with good project management skills.
  • Networking: Proficient in fostering relationships and enlisting support for innovative concepts.
  • Recruitment: Experience in hiring and mentoring team members.
  • Will primarily work on a schedule that overlaps with Europe, meaning most workdays will start in the afternoon and finish at night. Occasionally, the role will require working hours that overlap with the Americas to support global collaboration and initiatives. While we expect flexibility in scheduling, we also value and promote a healthy work-life balance
  • Amenable to work on a Hybrid Work Setup in BGC Taguig
