Operations Assistant – District Ice Cream

We are hiring a reliable, energetic, and highly organized Operations Assistant to support our management team in a fast-paced premium ice cream shop. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in high standards, and can confidently jump in wherever needed during service.

This position helps keep the shop running smoothly while supporting daily operations, customer experience, cleanliness, and team flow.

Responsibilities

• Support managers during busy service periods
• Restock ice cream, retail products, supplies, toppings, cups, and packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front of house, back of house, outside seating area as well as patio
• Assist with dishes, garbage, and ongoing resets throughout the shift
• Help manage customer flow and line efficiency
• Support scooping, cashier, and guest service as needed
• Monitor washrooms, seating areas, windows, and shop appearance
• Assist with opening or closing duties
• Identify needs before being asked and take initiative
• Help maintain a positive, professional team environment

Position Details

• Part-time / Full-time available
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Competitive pay based on experience

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
