Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include CNC & Swiss machining, full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding), stamping, wire forming, painting, integrated assemblies and more. Our facilities include the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment.
Wisconsin Stamping is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager at our Hartford, WI manufacturing facility who is seeking a challenging career in an aggressive, forward-thinking environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing plant operations, safety, staff development, reporting, process improvement and facility automation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and coordinate production activities, scheduling, shipping & receiving, quality, safety and maintenance activities.
- Recommend and implement changes in processes, procedures and equipment to improve performance, productivity and quality.
- Recommend and implement new manufacturing and system technologies.
- Coordinate and assist the Production Supervisor to maximize efficiency and ensure capacity utilization.
- Establish, implement and track production metrics.
- Develop and mentor supervisors and department leaders.
- Work with other functional areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain effective communication between manufacturing team and support functions.
- Address and resolve questions and problems expeditiously.
- Comply with all quality and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience and a minimum of 2 years in an operations or plant management capacity. Bachelors or associates degree in engineering or technical major is a plus.
- Prior experience in metal working, fabrication and/or machining is a plus.
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change.
- Ability to work independently.
- Creativity and a can-do attitude.
- Computer aptitude in Microsoft Office suite and CAD/CAM systems with an ability to adapt to and implement new technology.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
